What a tube!!!!

Ok here is my tip for this week......... Don't drop your brand new 1 dahy old netbook and dongle on the laminate floor in your hall!!!!!! The dongle didn't survive but the netbook did. So here I am now with Dongle 3!! SO hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky with this one!!! What a total nighmare I am having.

Dingle Dangle Dongle!!!!

Sorry I seem to now be having Dongle issues!!! Got a Vodafone Dongle but it is so slow that it takes about 20 mins to load up a page. Hence I still have no cards on here!! I can't get into my emails either so if anyone has sent me one I apologise for not replying but it just doesn't like AOL!!!!! Also went to my Dads to use his computer instead but he broke it the other day!! Silly cookie that he is. SO no computers!!!

I hope you are all well and creating .

Stressed, Who ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya,
Just a quick email while I am over at Alans house since I don't have a land line or computer at the other one.
As you know Alan and I were separating and the date for leaving was to be 16 Nov, so on Thursday the Housing Officer from our Local Council came round to assess me. I was then told I would have to move to temp "Homeless" accommodation then or nothing at all as they could not guarantee me any on the above date. So I had to move over the weekend!! So to take an agoraphobic totally out of her safe place has been very hard (Did think I was gonna get locked up on Sunday!!!LOL) and also the kids are just so unsettled by it all. Also I feel really stigmatised by the homeless thing as I feel really saddened that here I am homeless while he has a house his home comforts!! Its a bit galling but I am just gonna have to live with it!
I am looking into getting with the 21st Century and getting a Dongle as the house I am in I am not allowed a landline so am really missing the contact I have through the internet. It keeps me going. I am over here today to move my crafty bits over so hope to be playing with them again soon!! Any ATC's being sent to me will still arrive as Alan is my Postman now as he brings it over in the morning, lets hope he doesn't go on strike!LOL

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Paper Piecing

I am so sad as the Tilda and Friends Challenge is going to be stopping running as they have more DT members than people taking part. Its a shame as I enter it every week. :-((( I have used my stamp I received last week from Caz over at it for winning the September Draw. Its a Greetings Farm Image and I think she is so sweet. Fabs Big Christmas Card Challenge - Baubles!

Believe it or not this took me longer to dot hat the ATC above it with its cutting out but I used co-ordination Peel Offs and filled in the blacks with the silver peel off spares so it took a while and a lot of concentration!!! Although its simple it is stunning!

No Card Today :-(((

Hiya,

Just thought I would give you a wee update on how my Granny is.

The bigger dose of antibiotics has kicked in and her leg is not as red or swollen. She is still finding it really hard to weight bear on it but feels it is a bitty better. She is eating again and thinks she will be fine by the weekend! I know she is not well though as she postponed the hairdressers this am and she always goes there!!! Thanks so much for all your kind words about her! You are all so wonderful.

I am not posting any cards today as the boys have taken the camera to Glasgow to the Doctor Who Exhibition. I have peace for the day so that's nice. I am off to complete(I hope) my project for Moving Along With the Times this week. So that will take up a big part of the day.

Also going to think about starting to pack things up for my big move!!!! I really don't want to think about it but it is about 5 weeks now so just have to be brave and not get upset. Its such a hard time for both of us and the boys but I'm sure we will get there, just wish I knew where I was going too as I hate not knowing!

Anyway enough moaning
