MAWTT. Red Theme.

This week its Pami who is our Hostess on MAWTT. She has chosen the theme of Red so we would like to see a predominantly Red card from you. This is because its the Start of Chinese New Year today.

The red theme is because Red is associated with luck and during the New Year celebrations doors and windows in homes are newly painted red in preparation. Red is worn to ward off evil spirits, and on the day itself red packets are given to children and unmarried
adults which contain money.

We are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps again this week.
The Design Team were lucky enough to get some images and papers to play with. I used the paper pack from Floppy Latte. Its called Vintage Visions.

Card Recipe

6 x 6 Card
Floppy Latte Paper Pack from Stitchy Bear stamps
Sentiment - Old Chinese Proverb.Printed with Shanghai Font.
Origami Butterfly.
Nesties Labels kit for sentiment. (Thanks again Kelli for them xo)

Here is the Tutorial for the Origami Butterfly I made.

I would like to enter the card into the following challenges.

Sentimental Sunday - Celebrate Asia
ABC Challenge - N for Nesties
By the Cute and Girly - Red is all around us.

Right thats it from me today on the Design Team Cards. Hope you like them all. Please pop over to the challenges and join in the fun with us.
