Hi Everyone, here is my card for this weeks MAWTT Challenge. The theme chosen by the Lovely Debs is Have a Heart. So somewhere on your card we would like to see a heart or hearts. Simple with all the Lovely Dovey cards doing the rounds in blogland just now. You would think it was February and Valentines Day soon!!!

Top Tip Tuesday - Valentines

My Tip is to not add too much wet glue (like stickles) to your project as it can warp the paper. Just add a little and let it dry and if you need more then add it later.

Good morning from a very chilly Scotland. I hope you are all keeping warm with the cold weather eventually with us in the UK!!!

So here is my first of 2 CArds for today. This one is My DT Card for Willow Sketchie Challenge.

For my card I have used bright colours with Polly Pickleberry again. I love her and how cute (and patient is the Kitty waiting on the cream!!)

Gypsy Dancing....

Oh look at this Gorgeous Gypsy all ready to do her dancing, She has bells on her frock too so that she can join in the music. I thought instead of having charms on the card there could be some Jingle bells to match her so its a musical card.

WOW this morning has just disappeared. Tom went off to school but has had to come home again with a sore head. Same thing happened yesterday so not sure if its a bug or if he is struggling with some work. We are going to have a big chat about it later!

Well its not card making craft but it is painting!!

Belle really wants Grandad to play outside with her and the ball but is sadly having to wait while he paints my kitchen!!!!

I don't know if they should or can be in the same sentence but this Skull is cute but a little freaky to be honest. She is my latest Altered CD. I haven't done one for ages and wanted some that go with my brand new decorated kitchen. Yipeee!!!!! (Thanks Dad xx)

Lots of Glitter on her and she matches the colours just perfectly. I gave her polkadot eyes and flowers to go with her new home. Its my pinboard. Its been done up too. I painrted and decorated it yesterday and added the Plywood hearts too. I want my kitchen to be shabby, rustic and chic! Laughing at the picture of Jake and Tom as its really old, I must get a more recent one up!

Love is like a Butterfly...

As soft and Gentle as a sigh. Ha bet you hum that song all day now. Mind you it is lovely.

I made this card last night but needed better light to take the pictures.

According to Tom (The Very Crafty 7 Year old its a boring card!!!) I like it lots though.

I walked and wiggled the butterflies. The are coloured with Letraset Flexmarkers.

What you do is scribble different colours onto an acrylic block then spritz it with water. (My water had perfect pearls in it to make it glisten. Finally I walked the butterfly through the watery colours and the butterflies are a few light pretty colours.

its Friday, what a busy busy week I have had so glad that its the weekend tomorrow.

I had a important thing to do yesterday so to keep my mind off it I made this card just for the sake of making a card. Love when you can just play!!!

I love this time of the year with all the frost, Jack Frost was really busy last night as everywhere was white this morning.

I printed this image last night and have coloured Walter in today. I was going to use dark colours but then decided on light green for a change. I did want to put glitter all round the edges but think it looks better without, may have been overkill I think!

snow is glistening, A beautiful sight we're happy tonight, walking in a Winter Wonderland!!!

Hurumph!!! Well its now nearly mid January and no no no snow here. "Em aboot greetin!!!" (Translation Im almost crying!) I want some snow please!!!!!!

I love snow and really wanted Belle to have seen her first snow before now!! Oh well, maybe next week????

I have been having a rummage. Boy do I have a lot of stamped images I have received over the years!!!

Thanks to everyone who has ever sent me any. I found this one today and just had to play, Shes Gooseneck from Stampotique. I adore their stamps and have a few which I should play with more but sadly don't seem to have the time!

I gave her some freaky highlights in her hair. She really doesn't look like she is going to be laughing much when you see her face.

Argh you know I still cant get the hang of my Design Runner. I manage to do straight lines on test pieces of card but when I do it on the real thing it always goes wibbly wobbly!!! Eventually got this but on my 6th attempt!!!

Argh Tom was playing on the computer earlier and then when I went on it its decided to be on Go Slow. Wanted to have this post up and done ages ago. Hey ho!!!

I have been playing with a new image (well New to me) from Some odd Girl.

Its nice to be making Christmas cards and not having to rush like I was in December to get them done!!

Because the card is clean and white I wanted the insert to be the same.

Evening All, Happy New Year. Wow its 2012. Have you got any resolutions?? I don't really do them as I set myself up to fail by the 10th of January. So this year I decided to get through it im going to think with a VERY Positive attitude!!

I am also going to procrastinate a whole lot less. Im the Queen of it!!!

Eventually managed to finish this card off for Mum and Dad. Its their New Year Card. (I didn't do a Christmas card for them as they were away on holiday, then when they came back my mojo went off for a spa break and forgot to take me!!!)

I have used Wee Humphrey and his brother and Sister but its meant to be Me, Jake and Tom. Jake is taller than me. Tom coloured his own shoes in on the card, he wanted shiney silver shoes!!!!

5 Favorite Cards of 2011.

Debby is doing the same as last week today but instead of Christmas Cards its our 5 Favorite Cards of 2011.

This was a tough quest as I love a lot more than just 5 but eventually managed to narrow it down (Just!!!)

Here is my favorite one, Its Polly Pickleberry from just the other week. I adore her and you will be seeing her lots over 2012!!!

Number 2 is Witchy Tia with her Wee Cat, I loved the colours for this one. I did make loads of Halloween things this year. Really got carried away with it.

I have loved White on white this year so this card is perfect for my top 5. I have really enjoyed playing with Kenny K images too, They are a joy to work with.

Next up is one of my Sweet Pea stamps. I really liked the bright summer feel.

And Finally a circle easel card, Love my LOTV stamps and really should play with them more!!!

So thats it for my favourites.

5 Favourite Christmas Cards 2011.

Well I am all organised for tomorrow so relaxing the rest of the day. Even Tesco wasn't too bad this morning (and thats saying something for agoraphobic me!!!)

I thought I would reminisce over the Christmas Cards I have made this year and Debbie has the 5 Favorite Christmas Cards for us. Thanks Debbie for running it and also thanks for all the lovely comments you leave me during the year.

Now I make my Christmas Cards all year so this has taken me some time!!!

My Favorite one though is one I made just the other day.

I made it using a Kanban Stamp. I have loved Clean and Simple cards this year.

The second One is a Tent Card and It was my very first one. I even did a Tutorial for it HERE!

This card was on Create and Craft too Way back in October.

Number 3 is another Clean and Simple one.

4th is Another Walter and Winnie one!!!

And Number 5 is mmmmmmm Yes You guessed it Walter again. He seems to be Top of my Pops this year!!

Im back this morning with some more of the samples of Polly Pickleberry I made for Willow Designs.

Evening All, I just thought I would pop on and show you a couple of samples of the cards I made for Create and Craft for Willow Designs on Sunday.

Polly Pickleberry is Sharons latest CD and WOW she is a stunner. You can get her Exclusively from Create and Craft just now. Her item number is 204 637 and she is £11.99.

All the papers and the image comes from the CD.

Heres the card itself with Loen holding it on Sunday morning!!! I was so excited to see it.

As well as using Polly herself I thought I would have a play with just the papers.

The Design Team only had a few papers and Images to play with so think once I get my CD there will be loads more done with her.

I will be back over the next couple of days with a few more samples to share. I'm sure you will all fall in Love with Polly like I have.

Its Yule today so the Shortest Day of the Year but that also means that as of tomorrow the days start to get lighter and brighter again. So for all those of you who hate the cold, Summer is on her way!!!

I wanted to share with you the wonder of the Winters snow but of course living in Scotland The weather is a right wee temperamental beastie so where I am we haven't had any.

So my gift to you is happiness at the wonder of nature.

With all the hussle and bussle in the weeks leading up to Christmas its nice to stop take a deep breath and look at the wonders all around us. Great idea to de-stress!!!!

I took these pictures yesterday morning while out with Belle. I love how he paints everything and then the light catches it and makes it look like hes been busy with the glitter (Bit like me!!!) He changes things which normally look boring into pieces of sparkly artwork.

Just a quick post to let Hiccup say Hello. She is my Fairy on the Christmas Tree.

I have had her for about 20 years and this year she has finally received her name.

Why Hiccup I hear you ask, well about 3 if not more times each day she does a wee hiccup and falls off her perch!!

Here she is on top of the tree. I only have my wee one up this year, thought a 7 month old Jack Russell and a real tree in the same room would be a disaster!!!!

Hope you enjoyed meeting my wee Hiccup!!!

Top Tip Tuesday - Snowflakes.

With Top Tip Tuesday my tip is when you use your stickles glitter glues before you start make sure you have a clear area to place your card to let the glue dry. It takes a while for stickles to dry and I am terrible for either putting something down on top of the card or having Jess the cat walk across and get glittery paws!!

Im off now to get my Christmas cards finished. Mmm Still have to make them before I send them. Ooops!!!

Its Flashback Friday time, I haven't taken part for ages so thought I would trawl my way through my blog to see my first card with an Owl on it. I was surprised it wasn't Walter or Winnie my Favorite Willow Designs Pair!!! It is by one of my favorite Artists though the Lovely Lindsay Mason :)

I have been so busy this last week my feet haven't touched the ground!!!!

What with Clinic appointments and now D.I.Y! Hence not a lot going on Craft wise to show you. (I am making some stuff but sshhhh its all under wraps just now!!)

I had to make 20 cards for a Lady. Its my only order this year apart from Mum getting all her cards from me.

I wanted something simple as didn't want to much hassle repeating the same thing over and over. (I learnt my lesson a few years ago with that!!!)

Running So late.....

Argh My phone switched itself off during the night so it was the bin men outside who woke me this morning half an hour later than I was meant to have been up. So its been a day of chasing my tail!!!

I hate when you have a day like that.

Do you like my wee ribbon flower. I am loving making there they are so fragile and pretty. I just used the seam binding I had used for the ribbon embellishment on the card.

and has been for as long as I remember to make my Grannys Christmas card. I can recall being wee and getting the glue out and making both my Grannys Christmas cards with the cut out bits from the year befores cards on them.. Even in those days I liked lots of glitter!!!

So here is Grannys card from Mum and Dad. She has a great garden which is always visited by the birds so thought she would like this.

Baby Belle is 6 months old today!!! I cant believe how quickly she has gone from being that tiny wee puppy to a big doggy. (with a mind of her own!!!)

I have never had a dog before so this was a whole new experience for me!!! I was very stressed those first few weeks with this helpless wee soul relying on me (Just ask Shell!!!!) But as I have grown to get to know her and she has me we have become best friends. I adore her. Its such a joy to get up in the morning and be greeted by a happy wee puppy face wagging her tail to say good morning.

Jess even isn't bothered by her now. She secretly quite likes her i think. (Well Her Puppy Biscuits anyway!!!)

My Memory is of the snow when I was younger. We didn't get really bad snow like we have the last 2 years then. I remember it must have been about 1987 and the school ended up being closed and my Dad came and picked me up. He loved driving in the snow so we went for a hurl (just a drive for drivings sake) out the countryside roads looking at all the views.

Well did you remember to put the clocks back last night?? I did and boy what a treat an extra hour of craft today!!!Yipeeeeeee!!!

I made this for me. I don't often do things just to have a play, so it was great fun spending ages on my colouring instead of having a deadline to meet. I wanted to show it off when I had my tea party yesterday too.

I do like this quote, "Its never to late to be what you might have been" Its so true.

Can you see the sparkle on the flowers, Love my perfect pearls for that.
